Easy install, makes draining much easier

I really like the product. It looks great and was easy to install. Although I wish there was the option to have the aluminum ends rather than reusing the composite ends.

Hose is a super tight fit and struggle to get on the factory fittings.

The hoses fit and look great. I really like the drain plug. I do wish they would include instructions. You do have to cut the plastic ring on the OEM fittings to remove the old hose and install the new. It would be nice if they would tell you that, so you are sure doing it the correct way.

I haven't had a chance to install this yet as I am waiting for other SPE products to arrive so i can do it all at once however, the hose material is top quality and having a drain in the center section is way smart, to bad Ford didn't think of it.

I now have both upper and lower SPE radiator hoses and feel totally ready for anything. The fit and finish are outstanding. The clean and smooth look enhances this area of the engine bay. As another reviewer stated, I removed the passenger fender liner and had clear access to lower radiator hose connection. For the driver side connection I ended up cutting off both the collar and hose from the connector using a dremel tool. Could not get to the fitting clip no which way. Final assembly was seamless. SPE is my go-to for Ford 6.7 parts.

I purchased both the SPE Motorsport upper and lower radiator replacement/upgrades to be installed on a 2019 F-350. The problem is the heat in Phoenix, Arizona last year 35 days with daytime high temperatures above 110, last month the average temperature between high and nighttime low temp average was 99 degrees for the entire month of June 2024. The truck needs to lose heat from towing a 40 ft trailer at a minimum elevation of 1,000 ft in Phoenix to elevations on I-40 at 7,000 ft in Flagstaff, AZ. The 5-ply polyester-reinforced silicone material can withstand higher temperatures and higher pressures. The upper radiator hose eliminates the quick connect on the engine side of the radiator hose. The lower hose includes a billet aluminum coupler with a drain port to aid in completely emptying all of the coolant captured in the lower radiator hose. This eliminates “coolant baths” and messy coolant changes by offering a draining point for the entire engine coolant system. Adding a 6 ORB plug to the coupler allows you to remove the coolant without the typical anti-freeze bath. The high heat is hard on all fluids used in Modern trucks, with this latest radiator hose replacement, a higher quality hoses have been installed, ensuring many more trouble-free miles. While all this replacement work was done the anti-freeze in the radiator was flushed and replaced.

I'm still waiting for good weather to start the transition of both hoses. Thank you for your amazing service.

Great quality product that the team at SPE are known for, great fitment and the built-in drain plug within the coupler is forward thinking. The whole assembly looks classy, it's unfortunate that it located on the underside of the truck out of view. I do recommend a dab of anti-seize on the threads of the plug to avoid potentially buggering it up when the time comes that you have to remove to aid with draining the coolant.
