After pushing the limits of the S550 platform, we didn’t carry anything over and call it “good enough.” The S650 deserved a clean-sheet design. This intake was built from the ground up around the Gen 4 Coyote and its dual throttle body setup. No compromises, no adapters, no shortcuts.
This is a true dual throttle body (DTB) intake, designed to take full advantage of the S650 airflow strategy. Instead of forcing air through a single entry point, we’re feeding the plenum evenly from both sides, improving distribution across all cylinders and keeping things stable at high airflow and boost levels. The result is better throttle response, more consistent cylinder-to-cylinder fueling, and the headroom needed for serious power.
Like our previous manifolds, this is a fully modular, bolt-together system. No epoxy, no bonded seams. Every component is precision-machined and sealed with O-rings, then secured with custom Torx-drive titanium hardware. You can take it apart, service it, or change configurations without destroying a glued-together part.
The carbon fiber mono-plenum keeps weight down while maintaining strength where it matters. Paired with our 5-axis CNC-machined billet runners, this setup is built to handle high boost without becoming a restriction or a failure point. Tested at 135 PSI This intake is capable of extremely high boost pressures.
This isn’t just a show piece. It’s built to live on anything from a clean street car to a four-digit horsepower setup. Swapping the stock intake manifold (with IMRCs locked) for our carbon fiber manifold on an S650 5.0 Mustang resulted in a 40hp gain, achieved at just 12psi of boost with no other changes. The intake is designed with boost in mind. Major gains are seen above 6500 RPM.
