SPE is happy to introduce our new 2020+ Shelby GT500 mustang intercooler manifold. The blower water manifold connects to the intercooler under the supercharger lid to supply it with water/coolant. The factory piece leaves much to be desired in the flow department. Being it is a cast part flow was not the main concern ease of production and installation were. SPE has developed our solution around optimum performance for your intercoolers cooling needs. If you track the car, weekend cruise, or daily drive it this can be a beneficial upgrade.
The SPE blower water manifold for your 2020+ Shelby GT500 includes the fittings and hose ends needed to install it. The fittings and tubes can be configured based on the type of intercooler you are running. We support the Whipple and stock intercooler core. Our stock intercooler connection tubes are .060 larger internally than the factory ones. You also have the option to run the factory size 3/4 (-12 hose) or upgrade to -16 fittings for an ice tank setup. One of the down falls of the 2020+ GT500 when modifying them for more power is the lack of a manifold pressure reference port. There isn't a place on the engine to reference boost/ vacuum which can make things difficult when installing fuel pumps that require a pressure switch, or a boost gauge etc. This means there is no need to drill and tap the blower lid when using the SPE blower water manifold. SPE's design seals the water manifold to the blower lid with the factory gasket rather than a hard to find custom o-ring. This makes it much easier to replace if needed.
