When diagnosing a vehicle using EZ Lynk it’s important to know and understand what parameters are available so you can provide the technician (or yourself) with the best picture of what is happening to your vehicle under different conditions.
When it comes to datalogging, EZ Lynk makes the experience fully customizable with 3 viewing styles and a myriad of PIDs. These options allow you to view your PIDS as either 8 tiles, 3 gauges and 5 bars, or as a graph.
Now for the important stuff. What PIDs are actually available for monitoring & what should I select? We broke it down by vehicle diagnostic category. Please note, this will vary based on the vehicle and engine however the following PIDs are currently available on the 11-16 6.7L Powerstroke.
FUEL
AIR
TRANSMISSION
TEMPERATURE
EMISSIONS
MISC
Now that you know which PIDs are available it will make your technician’s job that much easier. Knowing this will allow you to choose the PID that corresponds with the vehicle complaint and make data logging more powerful and useful.
I still have not had the time to hook it up
I feel that I have to explain I’m in a wheelchair bought a (New to Me) truck
And the Coronavirus had shut down the place that does the hand controls (really sucked I was without a vehicle)
So we are moving forward with all these adaptations (next is the chair lift) after this it would be great to speak to one of you guys
I’m going to need help
